Brands such as Cadbury, Coca Cola, Kelloggs and Kraft Foods will be encouraged by their member organisation Alliance for Innovation and Operational Excellence (AIOE) to get their suppliers openly reporting sustainability data to Ecodesk.
Ecodesk and AIOE have struck a deal to promote open sustainability reporting to encourage greater supply chain transparency in the retail and FMCG sectors.
According to AIOE Managing Director Stephen C. Schlegel, the partnership agreement, will give AIOE members a better way to communicate their sustainability efforts to customers and will give customers enhanced oversight over their supply chains.
