L to R: Ecodesk CEO Mark Plant, Anya Ledwith director ESHCon, Dr Nick Murry CSO Ecodesk and compere Alistair McGowan

We are thrilled to announce that we have won an award this week at Edie.net’s Sustainability Leaders Awards at the Connaught Rooms in London. The award was in the Sustainable Systems and Software category. Ecodesk CEO Mark Plant and CSO Dr Nick Murry received the award from Anya Ledwith director ESHCon and compere Alistair McGowan.

We’d like to thank everyone involved with the company for their invaluable support.

Comment from the organiser:

“This year’s winner has engineered an IT solution that aims to take some of the complexities out of sustainable supply chain management and reporting through easier data capture and supplier benchmarking. Using the Ecodesk platform as a central Cloud-based hub, companies are able to not only collect and analyse supplier data on issues such as energy, carbon, water, waste and material sourcing, but assess suppliers against performance criteria and communicate with them to drive further improvements.”

Comment from the judges (see list of judges below):

“The Ecodesk platform presented a clever and elegant solution that no one’s cracked yet – the management of information requests down complex supply chains. We like the idea of assessing the supply chain and any means to gather data from numerous disparate companies is good if it’s easy to use by both the company and its suppliers. It’s free for suppliers which is also good.”
